Curried Chicken and Vegetable Rice

Ingredients:

  • 720g jar Homepride Curry Cook-In-Sauce
  • 400g (14 oz) long grain rice
  • 45 ml (3 tbsp) vegetable oil
  • 6 chicken breast fillets - cut into bite size pieces
  • 2 onions – sliced
  • 150g (5.5 oz) peas

Instructions:

  1. Cook rice as pack directs. Drain. Meanwhile, in large pan, heat oil and stir-fry chicken and onion for 5 minutes.
  2. Stir in sauce and peas. Simmer gently for 10 minutes or until chicken is tender, stirring occasionally.
  3. Stir in rice and serve.
