Beef Meatballs in Stroganoff Sauce

Ingredients:

  • 1x500g jar Homepride Stroganoff Cook-In-Sauce
  • 1 x 500g pack lean minced beef
  • 1 small onion, very finely chopped
  • 1 clove garlic crushed
  • Salt and pepper
  • 15g (1Tbsp) plain flour, seasoned
  • 30ml (2 Tbsp) vegetable oil

Instructions:

  1. Place the beef in a large mixing bowl.
  2. Add onion, garlic and seasoning, mix well.
  3. Take a tablespoon of mixture at a time and squeeze and roll into a small round, then lightly coat with seasoned flour, you should make about 18 meatballs.
  4. Heat the oil in a large frying pan, gently brown the meatballs.
  5. Transfer the meatballs to a pan with a tight fitting lid.
  6. Pour over the sauce and simmer on a low heat for 10 – 15 minutes until the meatballs are cooked through.
  7. Delicious served with buttered tagliatelle and a green salad.
