Baby Vegetables with Linguini
and White Wine and Cream Sauce

Ingredients:

  • 295g can Homepride White Wine & Cream Sauce
  • 2 baby leeks - trimmed and halved
  • 6 baby turnips – halved
  • 4 baby carrots - scrubbed and halved lengthways
  • 4 baby courgettes - halved lengthways
  • 8 asparagus tips – trimmed
  • 175g/6oz linguini
  • Salt and black pepper
  • Fresh tarragon to serve

Instructions:

  1. Steam all of the vegetables apart from the asparagus over a pan of boiling water for 10 minutes. Add the asparagus and steam for a further 2 minutes until all of the vegetables are tender.
  2. Meanwhile cook the linguini according to pack instructions. Drain it and return it to the pan over a low heat.
  3. Add the sauce to the pan and mix it thoroughly with the linguini. Season the vegetables with salt and pepper.
  4. To serve, place a bed of linguini onto a serving plate and spoon over the vegetables. Finally sprinkle over some fresh tarragon leaves and enjoy!
