Ingredients:

  • 500g can Homepride Red Wine Cook-In-Sauce
  • 15 ml (1 tbsp) vegetable oil
  • 4 chicken portions
  • 6 rashers bacon - cut into thin strips
  • 175g (6 oz) mushrooms - sliced

Instructions:

  1. Pre-heat oven to 180°C (350°F/Gas 4). In large frying pan, heat oil and fry chicken until brown on both sides. Remove with slotted spoon and place in a large casserole dish.
  2. Stir-fry bacon and mushrooms for 5 minutes. Add to chicken. Stir in sauce, cover and place in oven for 1 hour 30 minutes or until chicken is tender.
  3. Serve with new potatoes and enjoy!
